The most charming kilims in the south-western parts of Iran, are the ones made in the Fars province by the Qashqai tribes. The bold geometric designs accompanied occasionally by heraldic motifs, are characteristic of these kilims. The element though, that makes some of these kilims to really stand out, as is often the case, it is none other but the choice of colors.The burnt orange and mainly the greens, supported by two wonderful shades of blue and natural white, make this Qashqai kilim an exceptional one. In perfect condition.
